The village has become a test site for a new way to collect rubbish and encourage recycling. Any rubbish that cannot be recycled or composted will now have to be put in secure bags and the householder must take the bags to a central bin to have the number of bags monitored. If the experiment is successful it will be extended out over the departement. It does mean that now there are paper/glass/cardboard/plastic recycling points down behind the Mairie just a 5 min walk from the holiday house. We encourage all our guests to use the compost heap at the house too - just behind 'le buanderie' where the washing machine and bike store are found.
फुद्गे एंड कारमेल!
Fudge and caramel made at the local dairy now available for tasting and buying at the farm shop just a short walk from the house down towards the Baie du Mont St Michel. One is flavoured with calvados - delicious! make sure you drop in.
